Backup and disaster recovery
We make sure your company’s data can be restored and your services brought back up. Daily backups to separate storage, replication to a standby host and regular checks that it all really works.
Backups in every plan (14 days in TakeIT (A), 30 days in TakeIT (B)). Replication and DR in TakeIT (B) and (I).

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a backup and replication?
A backup is a copy of data at a point in time that you can restore from. Replication is a continuously updated copy of a virtual machine on another host that can be started quickly if the main server fails.
How often do you test restores?
Regularly, on a schedule agreed in the contract, and after significant infrastructure changes.
Where are backups stored?
In separate storage, away from your main servers, in EU data centres or at a location agreed with you.
